Perfect for a lot of uses, especially a daylight cycle for plants, fishtanks, reptile enclosures UPDATE: I bought my first one of these in May 2016; right around one year later it started making a really annoying constant clicking/grinding sound. It still works fine, just produces a very annoying noise. I noted in my original review that it made a soft sound before that most people didn’t seem to hear at all; that sound is now a loud clicking that everybody in the room can definitely hear. The only problem is that it has developed an annoying vibration/rattling sound that never stops, and it really gets on my nerves. Works great for my reptile terrarium I bought this for the lights on my bearded dragon terrarium. It turns the lights on in the morning and turns them off at night. It works very well. I like that it has a lot of outlets. It keeps time accurately unlike some others on the market.
